Ways to Help When You Cannot Adopt

Each time you shop at a Tom Thumb Supermarket, use your Reward Card, and tell the cashier the Humane Society of North Texas number: 3792. A percentage is donated to the HSNT.

Use your Kroger card each time you shop at Kroger Supermarket and a percentage is donated to help the animals.

Bring any of the following to HSNT (or any humane shelter):

• Puppy and Dog Food (canned and dry)

• Kitten and Cat Food (canned and dry)

• Dog/Cat Treats

• Pet Carriers

• Bath Towels/Blankets/Toilet Lid Covers

• Liquid Dish Soap

• Laundry Soap

• Bleach

• Windex

• Paper Towels

  OR...

• General Office Supplies: Ballpoint Pens and Felt Tip Markers, Coloured Highlighters, Note Pads, Post-It Notes, Staples/Staplers, Scotch Tape, Masking Tape, Binders, Manila Folders and Envelops

• Newspaper- Humane shelters use an incredible amount of opened-out, stacked newspaper daily to line animal cages. Frequent deliveries of bundled papers help them meet their demand.

• Volunteer your time at HSNT (or any humane shelter). Just complete a volunteer application, and you will be notified of their next Volunteer Orientation meeting. The animals will thank you in a way the shelter never could!

• Donations of used, but still working washers, dryers, refrigerators and cars.

• Monetary donations of any amount.
